Fashion Sketching with Zoe Hong

Is your brain buzzing with great fashion ideas but you don’t know how to get them down on paper? Do you want to learn how to create some quick fashion sketches to communicate your design ideas with other people?

Fashion designer and educator Zoe Hong will talk you through the process professional fashion designers use in the industry. Zoe will break the process down to easy-to-follow steps using the tools working designers use. You will sketch during the workshop under Zoe’s tutelage and leave armed with the knowledge and skills needed to keep practicing at home. 

Supplies Needed: None. Materials will be provided in class.

Zoe Hong, Fashion Designer & Illustrator 

After working in the fashion industry for many years, Zoe Hong started teaching at Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2012. She started her YouTube channel in 2015 with a desire to help students who didn't have access to a top university education. Zoe teaches fashion design process, illustration, and fashion industry best practices, among many other subjects, on her YouTube channel, as a guest lecturer at schools and arts organizations, and on multiple programs on NBCUniversal's Bluprint.
