Connected Couture: A Journey into the Future
Connected Couture is a two-day interactive fashion exhibition from September 21-22, 2019, exploring the intersection of robotics, apparel and Internet of Things, and their impact on how we may interact with technology in the future.
Robotic Dress & IoT Clothing Exhibition
Straight from the runways at New York Fashion Week, Connected Couture is the West Coast debut of works by leading fashion tech designers Clare Tattersall (CEO of Thunderlily), Michael Starost (Founder of UFUFU) and Azreal.YM (VP of Design at 360Fash Tech Lab). The exhibition will feature robotic dresses, IoT clothing, and more. Designers have created mini collections on the themes of origami, nature, and music, all of which will be on display at Fashion Incubator SF.
Women's Wearables and Tech Kits
Fashionable women's wearable products will be showcased during the exhibition, created by Anina Net, the CEO and founder of 360Fashion Network. Anina evolved from a model to a fashion tech industry pioneer, developing Intel Curie-powered smart gloves showcased on CCTV at Chinese New Year and desining shape-shifting robot dresses showcased on ABC7News. She is listed as #7 in Top 100 Women in Wearable and Consumer Tech. Attendees will get the opportunity to demo wireless charging wallets, smart safety rings, illuminated jewelry, and more.
