Julia Mehra, Global Direct to Consumer Partnerships & Innovation, Levi Strauss & Co.

Julia Mehra leads innovation strategy and digital partnerships for Levi Strauss and Co.’s Direct to Consumer business, where she develops and manages projects with large scale technology partners, small fashion technology companies, and the venture capital and accelerator community. Prior to joining LS&Co., she led growth, operations, and strategy as the first employee at SENREVE, a luxury handbag brand for the millennial professional woman. Julia started her career at Morgan Stanley in the Consumer/Retail Capital Markets group and later joined the Digital Innovation and Mobile Product groups at Sephora, where she identified and prototyped new technology to drive innovation at the company. Julia graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Nicholas Toriello, VP of Strategic Partnerships, Bolt Threads

Nicholas is the VP of Strategic Partnerships at Bolt Threads, a biotechnology company creating the next generation of materials that raise the bar for sustainability in consumer products. Nicholas works with partners to design and launch novel products using Bolts sustainable materials. Prior to joining Bolt, Nicholas led a Protein Engineering group developing next-generation industrial enzymes for Novozymes. Nicholas co-founded Allopartis Biotechnologies which built a best in-class enzyme discovery platform that was acquired by Novozymes in 2013. He has a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UCSF/UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Scott Miller , Director of Business Development, Sustainable Apparel Coalition

Scott is the Director of Business Development at the Sustainable Apparel Coalition where he is focused upon growing membership and Higg Index adoption. Scott represents the SAC at key industry events across the Americas and Asia where he educates wide-ranging industry stakeholders on the latest sustainability issues and Higg Index developments. He also contributes to internal and external communications and to enhancing SAC member value.

Prior to the SAC, Scott was the Director of Business Development at MindClick Global, where he promoted supply chain transparency and sustainability to the hospitality industry. For more than 10 years, Scott has driven environmental projects to embed triple bottom line strategies across various industries. Notably, Scott was featured in James Cameron’s Emmy winning climate change docuseries Years of Living Dangerously for his EDF Climate Corps fellowship at Caesars Entertainment and for environmental auditing at The Honest Company.

Scott was trained by Al Gore to deliver his Climate Reality Project and by the Marine Mammal Center to rescue stranded wildlife. He holds an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego. He also is a LEED AP and a Master Composter.

Whitney is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of 3DLOOK, an AI-first technology company that is building the world's first digital body data platform powered by its mobile body scanning technology. Whitney has spent over two decades working in executive leadership positions for some of America’s leading branded, celebrity licensing, and private label manufacturers delivering apparel products to the biggest names in retail. Whitney also holds a certification from MIT in Artificial Intelligence and is an expert at understanding the intersection of the fashion/retail ecosystem and technology.

Since founding nationally recognized boutique, McMullen, in 2007, Sherri McMullen has created a luxury brand that serves, celebrates, and empowers women. Sherri continues to curate collections with global representation and uses her platform to bring awareness to emerging African and African American designers. She has been featured as a fashion innovator by Women's Wear Daily, Forbes, Vogue, The San Francisco Chronicle, 7x7, Diablo Magazine, Mother Magazine and more. McMullen has taken strides in positively impacting communities and consistently supports initiatives dedicated to women, children and the arts.

SELENE CRUZ, FOUNDER & CEO, RE:STORE

Selene is the Founder and CEO of Re:Store, a new retail concept store which opened this year on Maiden Lane. Selene’s inspiration for her new retail venture sprang from the frustrations she endured while launching her successful online-based leather bag brand here in San Francisco. Re:Store has been referred to as the “ WeWork for brands” as it provides a place for online brands to present their products in a real-world retail format, while also providing founders a place to work and a sense of community. Selene secured $1.7 million in pre-seed funding co-led by Sequoia and South Park Commons, and is one of the first startups to secure funding through Female Founder Office Hours, a mentorship program led by women venture capitalists.
