Amanda Scarlett Smith
About Amanda Scarlett Smith
While earning a degree in fashion design from London’s Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, Amanda Scarlett Smith had the opportunity to work with the legendary Alexander McQueen and Antonio Berardi. No stranger to the spotlight, Amanda has held costume design positions with the English National Opera and for the stage production of The Lion King and the film The Duchess starring Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes.
Amanda is developing her womenswear collection, Scarlett Smith, which features her unique use of creative cutting techniques and precise tailoring to achieve a dramatic, elegant and sculpted look.
The Scarlett Smith label is based in San Francisco and is inspired by Amanda’s belief that fashion is a non-verbal story shared with people every day: It affects how you behave and how others react to you.
